About Me:
I’m Warren Yanez, a Senior at Lockhart High School and graduating class of 2027. I am a passionate photographer, dedicated to capturing life through a cinematic lens. While I specialize in sports photography, I’ve expanded my focus to cover a wide range of events; each shot crafted to look like a moment straight out of a movie.
My work has been featured in the Lockhart Post-Register, capturing key moments in local sports- from season openers to standout performances on the field. I’m honored to have been recognized as “Best Photographer” [Summer 2025] at American University in Washington, D.C. I represented both my school and my growing passion for visual storytelling while attending a nine-day Photojournalism conference through NSLC, National Student Leadership conference.
For me, photography is about emotion and energy —freezing moments that tell a story without needing words. Every photo I take is a new frame in a larger film that I am still creating.
The way i see photography
With my unique vision, life is a like a movie, unfolding in front of our very own eyes. Photography is a work of art. My blending concepts are a way for me to make an event look straight out of a movie. I’m thrilled, honored and greatly appreciate the opportunity to be your photographer. Lastly, I am forever passionate about making your session and/or event cinematic and one of a kind through my lens!
